FROM OUR FARM TO YOUR HOME

We are Neal and Emily Brooks, and our farm is just outside of Osceola, Missouri. Emily's parents were both farmers before they had kids, and both of us grew up on small properties with a few horses, but neither of us had much real farming experience when we started. We have been learning and growing since 2016, adding 2 little farmers, and moving to a larger 40 acre farm along the way.

 

We now raise cattle, pigs, turkeys, and chickens on our farm, doing our best to use sustainable, regenerative practices to help improve the land and provide the most natural, healthy and happy environments for our animals. We're much more invested in the quality of how our animals live and eat than how easily or efficiently we can raise them. It results in a little more hands on work, but an amazing quality product that we feel great about. We take the responsibility of raising your meat and eggs well very seriously, and love to answer any questions you might have about our farm and our practices.

 

We grow a small garden for ourselves and a large crop of specialty flowers using no chemical pesticides or herbicides. We will have beautiful bouquets available through most of the season. Emily also began rendering our own lard and developing a clean skincare line focused primarily on simple, local ingredients in 2023. Our skincare products are farm made with our own pasture raised lard and local raw beeswax, and essential oils only, no artificial fragrances. The lard works similarly to tallow, but is even a little closer in pH and cellular makeup to our skin, so it moisturizes even more deeply with natural vitamins and minerals, and the beeswax helps to create a breathable, light barrier to keep your skin moisturized even longer.

 

Our favorite part of markets is getting to know you, the people we are growing for, and hearing what's important to you and what you're looking for. We are in the process of switching to a completely non GMO, corn-free and soy-free feed this year. We have added different cuts of meat, and many different skincare products based on your requests.
